The Bilateral and Consular Affairs Department is responsible for the follow up of the relations between the Principality of Andorra and the rest of the nations of the world, and also for the consular assistance to the Andorrans in foreign countries.

To that end, it works in coordination with other Andorran Administration Departments, whose activities may have an impact on these relations.

The Bilateral and Consular Affairs Department works closely with the Embassies of the Principality of Andorra, and also with the accredited Embassies toAndorra,through a direct and continued contact.

One part of the task of this Direction is to prepare at the capital and abroad the visits and meetings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other members of the Andorran Government, as well as to keep under review those visits and meetings.
